We welcome group visits throughout the year on Monday-Thursday only.

Please note: From May to September arrangements for Group Visits may differ as the House and Gardens are open to the public on some weekday afternoons.
House & Gardens
Morning Visits
- Includes entrance to the gardens
- Guided tour of the House
- Tea/coffee with homemade biscuits.
- For groups of less than 20, the minimum group fee is £340.00
Afternoon Visits
- Includes entrance to the gardens
- Guided tour of the House
- Tea/coffee with homemade cake
- For groups of less than 20, the minimum group fee is £360.00
Evening Visits
- Includes entrance to the gardens
- A free flow visit on the ground floor of the House
- For groups of less than 20, the minimum group fee is £320.00
- Guided tours of the House (Morning and Afternoon visits only) are in groups of up to 20. There is a 15-20 minute interval between the beginning of each tour and tours last approximately 45 minutes.
- Lunches are available for both morning and afternoon visits, please ask for details.
- Our tearoom comfortably seats 25 for lunch.
- For groups over 25, there will be more than one sitting.
- Please note that for Evening visits, the House is only open during the first hour of the visit (e.g. Groups arriving at 6.30pm, the house will be open until 7.30pm). There is no time restriction for the visit to the gardens.
- Evening refreshments available from £4 per person,

Downton Abbey Teas
Kingston Bagpuize House was featured in the TV series Downton Abbey in 2014 and 2015 as Lord Merton’s home, Cavenham Park.
We offer groups the choice of two options for afternoon visit:
- The Standard Visit
- The KBH Gold Visit with tea served in the Dining Room or Drawing Room
Standard Tea
- Guided Tour of the House with tea and cake in the Basement Tearoom. This was the working kitchen of the house until 1976.
- Minimum Group fee (Weekday visits):
- £300 for up to 20 guests
- £15.00 for each additional guest
KBH Gold Visit
- Guided tour of the House with tea, scones and cake in Lord Merton’s Rooms (either in the Dining Room or Drawing Room).
- Minimum Group fee (Weekday visits):
- £450 for up to 15 guests, £30.00 for each additional guest
- Additional charge of £5.00pp for Weekend Groups
A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 will be required at time of booking, with balance of payment (admission and refreshments), in advance by BACS payment or by cheque, made payable to Kingston Bagpuize House, on the day of the visit.
Please note that final numbers need to be confirmed a week in advance of the visit and will be charged for regardless of last minute cancellations.
