Rare Plant Fair

Since 2001 the Rare Plant Fair has taken place annually on the last Sunday in May. The next Rare Plant Fair will be held on 24 May, 2026. Please see our Event Days page for more information.

Proceeds from the Rare Plant Fair support SeeSaw, which provides grief support for the young in Oxfordshire, and the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Abingdon Group.

Village Fête

The Garden of Kingston Bagpuize House has been the venue for the Village Fête for over 40 years. This is a true community event, with many villagers taking part in supporting their local groups, clubs and societies. Money is raised to help both local organisations and national charities.

Other Events

Kingston Bagpuize House has also previously hosted a wide variety of other one-off charitable events, like fun runs, charity dinners and family days out.

We have also played host to a number of other large community events for the village, including the Coronation celebration and the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Since 2020 we have also held an annual carol service on the main lawn.
